BIRTH ASSISTANT WORKSHOP
Hattiesburg, MS - April 22, 2023
This one-day training will be taught by Susan Wilson, CPM, RN. Susan has a wealth of knowledge to share with over 40 years of birth experience and 25 years of teaching NRP. She is a registered preceptor with NARM and has been a CPM for 14 years. Susan has worked both in the hospital setting and in community birth.

NEONATAL RESUSCITATION PROGRAM ($75):
Workshop Participants will need to complete all the online components of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program, including the Online Learning Assessment (Adaptive eLearning). These online components will assess and verify your foundational knowledge of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program Essentials Provider curriculum. Upon completion of the online activities, you will need to register for this instructor led event (Search for: "A Mother's Heart Hattiesburg 4-22-23") where you will have the opportunity to practice/review essential resuscitation skills and participate in simulations.
**Passing all online assignments in combination with this hands-on workshop is required for issuance of an NRP Essentials Provider eCard.

ASSISTING IN BIRTH COMPLICATIONS ($75):
This portion of the workshop will prepare attendees to assist care providers in some common birth complications including:
