Meet the Team
Emily Thompson
Student Midwife & Birth Doula
Emily’s love for birth work began after having her first baby in 2016. She felt empowered and supported during her pregnancy and birth, and became passionate about helping others have positive birth experiences as well. After helping several friends with their labors and deliveries, Emily knew the Lord was leading her to pursue birth work as a career. She is a DONA certified doula and is currently a student midwife.
Emily and her husband Josh have 4 daughters.

Cassidy Sager
Student Midwife
Cassidy’s love for birth came after having her first child in 2021. Through this birth, she felt the Lord calling her to birth work in some capacity. She wanted both moms and dads alike to know that there are options within the birth world and to help educate them about these options. After having her second child via home birth in 2023, she finally began seeking what the Lord would have her do. This led her to begin the process of getting her Birth Doula Certification. Cassidy believes this certification is not the end, but only the beginning of what the Lord may be calling her to within the birth world!
Cassidy has been married to her husband, Brick, since 2019 and they have three children.
Hannah Hamill, RN
Midwife's Assistant
After the birth of her son in 2023, Hannah felt the Lord calling her to birth work. She has spent the last 6 years working as a Pediatric and NICU nurse, a nurse at Hope Clinic of Hattiesburg, and is currently pursuing doula certification. She feels that it is a privilege and honor to walk alongside these precious families as they grow.
Hannah has been happily married to her husband Caleb since 2020 and together they have one beautiful little boy.

Madison Sutton, RN
Midwife's Assistant & Mother/Baby Nurse
Madison knew from a young age that she wanted to be a birth worker in some capacity. After the birth of her first child in 2022, the Lord grew her passion for childbirth and helping postpartum women. Madison graduated from William Carey University with a degree in Nursing and Intercultural Studies. She and her husband plan to serve on missions for women and children cross culturally in the future. In the present, Madison loves serving families in the Hattiesburg community alongside Amanda and the Hattiesburg Midwifery team and also working on the postpartum unit. Her favorite part about home birth is seeing how women gain strength and newfound confidence in the Lord through their labors.
Whitney Hollingsworth
Midwife's Assistant & Childbirth Educator
In 2015, Whitney gave birth to her first child and in many ways- life was never the same again. Her first birth experience opened her eyes to a passion and calling of serving women through their childbearing years. In 2018, she became a DONA certified birth doula and has served as a birth doula and educator to many expecting families throughout the Pine Belt area. Supporting families is truly a precious work and Whitney finds it a great privilege to have the opportunity to come alongside families as they navigate that process.
Whitney has been married to her husband Dustin for 10 years and together they have four children.

Glenda Martin
Midwife's Assistant & Birth Doula
When Glenda was pregnant with her first baby, she felt led by the Lord to research home birth. This was definitely a step of faith for her, since she did not know anyone else who had birthed at home but God provided them with the support she needed. Now after birthing all five of her babies at home, Glenda is a huge advocate of midwifery care and she loves to encourage couples to explore alternative birth options. She believes that the Lord has a beautiful design for birth, Glenda feels honored to help couples walk through it.
Glenda homeschools her five children, and she is currently pursuing Birth Doula Certification with DONA International.
Erin McCloud
Midwife's Assistant
Erin has always had a love for babies and children. She became a proponent for natural childbirth after the birth of her first child. She has since become interested in helping families and practitioners around the Hattiesburg area achieve their best possible birthing outcomes
Erin has been married to her husband, Greg, for 9 years and together they have 5 children.
